SmileOtopia grew out of a simple theory: if drawing smiles can make me smile, maybe sharing smiles can make others smile. I put this theory to the test in August of 2016 with the goal of drawing two thousand and sixteen smiles by the end of the year. At the end of 2016, I did, in fact, smile as I drew all two thousand and sixteen smiles and, from what I hear, at least one other person smiled too!

As long as drawing smiles continues to make me smile, I’ll keep drawing them and sharing them in the hope that something here will make you smile too. 🙂
